Lugar do Olhar Feliz est le nom d’une maison de campagne au sud du Portugal, en Alentejo. A Olhar Feliz il y a un jardin ibéro-mauresque : les jardiniers sont Ann Kenny et Jean Paul Brigand. Ce sont des jardiniers gourmands qui se réjouissent de manger les légumes et les fruits du jardin et de sentir les parfums du grand sud. Ils aiment les portraits aux pastels du XVIIIe.
Lugar do Olhar Feliz veut dire « Là où le regard prend plaisir ». Car c’est un pays d’une grande beauté, dans un climat d’une grande douceur où le regard ne se lasse pas de voyager selon les saisons et les heures. .

Lugar do Olhar Feliz is the name of a country home in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal. At Olhar Feliz we are creating an ibero-mauresque garden. Ann Kenny and Jean Paul Brigand are gourmand and gardeners (who love to eat the fruit and vegetables from their garden.)
They share a passion for 18th century pastel portraits.
Lugar do Olhar Feliz means "there, where to look is to enjoy". Mind you it sounds much better in French or Portuguese. This is a country of great beauty, with a gentle climate where you never tire of the view as it changes by season or by hour.
